5 people joined me for a walk from Ohawe Beach to Waihi Beach in cool conditions to start with but a fantastic day, weather wise.  Low tide was at 9.27 am so we were walking by just after nine.  Great walking with not too many obstacles.  At Waihi, 5 carried on to the Fonterra out fall while I went up the hill and organised cars.  Met up with the group at Nowell’s lake.  Apparently it was a brisk walk so they weren’t caught out with incoming tide.  Lunch at Upside Down.
